Barclaycard Support Teach Africa Isobel Thacker and Victoria Hilton of Barclaycard's International Division organised a social event at Northampton's Black Bottom Club on 23rd November. Despite the relatively poor turnout from Barclaycard employees they were generous in their financial support resulting in the ladies raising well over £2000 for the evening. This is a Fantastic! achievement and the charity is very grateful and proud of their efforts. The event was also well supported by Northampton College of Performing Arts and a Big Thank you to Ray Meadham who heads up the music faculty who organised the music including solo acoustic act Harry Pane, DJ Jack Leeson and also the rock band Peaceful Warriors. The evening was also well supported by the Wellingborough and District Athletic club who have adopted Teach Africa as their official charity for 2007.
